why we made this

We designed these crops out of luon fabric with four-way stretch to move with us whether we're practicing yoga right-side-up or upside-down. Their wide, smooth waistband won't dig in when we're in Forward Fold and the splits at the back of the hem allow our calves to feel unrestricted.

adorable/functional pilates pants once again another cute and functional crop. this is my 5th lulu crop and by far the cutest!! fabric quality is great, and very comfortable! look forward to many pilates workouts in them. 25 February 2013
very comfortable but.... I love these pants and they're super comfortable, however I only gave them 4 stars for 2 reasons 1) I think they run a little small, I went up a size and after wearing them a few times I almost wish I'd gone up another size (I wear a 6 in the astro pant and got these in an 8) 2) the material is slippery so it can be tricky doing some yoga balancing poses such as tree pose Overall I will definitely keep wearing these, but those are the two things I think people should keep in mind 25 February 2013
Bring back the boogie crops! I bought a pair of the gather and crow crops and have worn them to yoga and zumba so far. Although I bought my usual lulu size I find myself pulling them up during class. I would consider sizing down one size for that reason. I still have two old pairs of boogie crops with an internal drawstring that I love. I have tried other styles to replace them, but would be thrilled if lulu brought them back! 16 February 2013
LOVE THESE! I bought these crops because I am obsessed with pink shell, and I LOVE them! They are definitely the most flattering crops I own. I have not worn them for anything high-impact or cardio at all, but for PiYo, they are perfect! I can get through a 60-minute class without having to pull or tug on them at all! The rise is perfect-- no muffin top! I don't know why people are freaking out about the gusset. I have not had any camel toe at all. I actually like the triangle gusset just fine! I am between an 8 and 10 in Lulu bottoms, closer to a 10. I got these in a 10, and they are perfect. I am 5'7", muscular, and 170 pounds. Get them! 12 February 2013
Great Fit but pills easily These pants fit great and are super flattering, but they pill very easily. I have followed the care instructions, but they have pilled very badly and even though they are not old, they look really old now. I would not recommend them for anyone planning on doing rigorous activity for that reason. Light wear and activity is best for these pants. (I know they say they are for yoga, but was told at the store they would work well for my more intense activity as well) 9 February 2013
Sweet crop I ordered these in black with the zigzaggy waistband along with a striped top. So fun! My first time wearing them was terrific. I got compliments, they stayed in place. I do Baptiste power yoga, so the high performance fabric is key! The length is perfect, and having a little room near the bottom edge feels less confining than a skinny fit crop. I could fit a pair of leg warmers underneath, important for a Maine winter day... I almost ordered a second pair right away. 5 February 2013
Great Crops I ordered these crops in size 4, and they fit great. I am 5'4", 110, with about 26" waist and 34" hips. The crops hit me at low-to-mid calf, which is great. The crops stay in place during my work out. I did not experience any sheerness at all, or CT. The material feels substantial without feeling heavy at all. 5 February 2013
Triangle Gusset is a no-no I have two pairs of the Gather and Grow crop from a couple years ago with the diamond gusset and they AMAZING. I just bought these in the pigment blue. I love the color, but they have the triangle gusset and give you an uncomfortable camel toe. I find I have to pull these down a little to avoid this, which isn't a complete inconveinence, but if they would just bring back the diamond gusset these would be perfect! Other than the gusset, these crops are super comfy! For reference, they are TTS. I am 5'10, 135lbs and the size 4 is ideal. 2 February 2013
great crops! I have 2 of the Gather & Crow crops and I think that Lulu did a fantastic job! I have one in black (my first purchase from Lulu) and the Alberta Lake one. They are comfortable, fitted and stylish at the same time. Keep making these crops!! 30 January 2013
Too Sheer and not flattering Tried these on today in store - tried my usual size 8, and they were way too sheer. I would size up if I was to buy them. The bunching in the back didn't really suit me - I've got a booty, and I found the bunching drew my attention right to that area, which is generally the area I like to hide whenever possible. I do like all the colour options, and the material was nice as well. Just not ideal for me. The sales girl at the store did tell me that they've been selling out like crazy of them, so they seem to be a very popular item. 29 January 2013
