Care Instructions

We want you to have the freedom to treat your clothes with the same tough love you give your workouts. Here are some tips to get the longest life out of your garment

Best Bet

Always check the care and content label for specific information on how to care for your gear.

Cold Wash, Air Dry

Machine wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. This helps protect the life of the LYCRA® fibre and the shape of your gear.

Taking Care of Bright Colours

We suggest you:

  1. Wash bright colours alone before you wear them
  2. Continue washing bright coloured gear with similar colours
  3. When wet, keep bright coloured gear away from other fabrics

Turn your gear inside out and wash it with other synthetic fabrics (e.g., Luxtreme, Nulu, etc.) and avoid anything abrasive, such as denim or garments with Velcro® or zippers.

Avoid Mixing Luon with Cotton

Wash your Luon separate from your hoodies and towels. Cotton fluff (especially from towels) gets attached to Luon.

Sweat-Wicking Gear and Fabric Softener Don’t Mix

Avoid using fabric softener because it coats the technical fabric and inhibits its wicking capabilities.

Luon®, Luxtreme®, Everlux™, Nulu™, Nulux™, Rulu™, Seamless, Swift, Warpstreme™

We recommend:

- machine wash cold with similar fabrics

- avoid fabric softeners and abrasive fabrics/materials

- hang to dry (or tumble dry on low)

Natural blend family, Merino wool, Boolux™, Cashlux™

We recommend:

- machine wash cold with similar fabrics

- avoid fabric softeners and abrasive fabrics/materials

- lay flat to dry

Outerwear family

We recommend:

- Cold wash, tumble dry low

- Close all zipper and Velcro® closures

- Use the least amount of detergent possible to clean it effectively—leftover detergent may inhibit the water-repellency.

For washing our cotton fleece Scuba Hoodie, put it in a cold wash with other cottons and hang it to dry or dry it on low.

No. Wash your items again without fabric softener and they should return to their normal wicking level as the softener is washed away.

We recommend spot cleaning your bag with a cloth, a little soap and water.

Washing is especially important for slipless headbands whose 'sliplessness' can be affected by hair oils. We'd suggest putting them into a delicates bag. Cold water and lay flat to dry is best.

We find that removing cups when washing our sports bras helps them to keep their shape. To wash the cups, hand-wash them in cool or warm water and lay them flat to dry.

Down feathers can move around as they settle, which might cause some sharp quills to poke through the fabric. If you see a feather poking out, resist the temptation to pull it as this can create a larger perforation. Instead, try to grasp the loose feather from the inside of the garment and gently pull it out or push it back in. Following the wash and care instructions for your jacket will also help to settle the down and minimize any leakage.
